Calling all students: The Birmingham Tab is looking for new writers to join our brilliant team, and we want you.
We are holding our open meeting on Tuesday 7th October at 7pm at Joe’s bar in the University of Birmingham’s Guild of Students.
Whether you’re a fresher or a final year, as long as you study at a uni in Birmingham, we would love to have you as part of our 25/26 writing team.
Writing for us is fun, rewarding, and flexible, as well as providing you with invaluable journalistic experience. You’ll have complete creative control over the topics you write about, as long as it’s related to students and student life in Birmingham.
No experience is needed for writing for The Birmingham Tab; all we look for is an enthusiasm for sharing your stories with other students.
There’s something for everyone, too. Whether you report on the freshest exclusives and breaking news, or want to rant about the bin strikes and produce fun features, we’ve got you covered.
So, if you’re a journalist in the making or simply love being the first to get the scoop, here’s why The Birmingham Tab is for you:
