Police statement as Bonnie Blue allegedly ‘slapped’ at Sheffield Freshers’ event
A woman was detained and later released
OnlyFans’ Bonnie Blue was allegedly “slapped” in the face at a Sheffield Freshers event last night.
The adult film star was at an event at the city’s Onyx nightclub as part of her 2025 Freshers Tour.
Video footage of the alleged incident circulated online and South Yorkshire Police has confirmed officers attended the venue in the early hours.
In a statement on Friday morning, it said: “At 1.22am today (Friday 19 September), we were called to reports of a disturbance at Onyx nightclub on Portobello Street, Sheffield.
“It is reported that a woman was assaulted at the nightclub, suffering no injuries.
“A woman was detained at the scene and later released. The incident has been filed pending further information coming to light.”
While initial reports indicated the incident involved Bonnie being “punched in the face”, a member of her team has since suggested that it was “merely a slap”.
Her head of security said: “Bonnie takes risks every time she poses for thousands of pictures with fans — and that’s always the main challenge for us, as we keep constant eyes on her safety.
“Our team immediately stepped in with reasonable and necessary actions to de-escalate the situation, and Bonnie carried on with her night’s work.
“For the sake of content and socials, Bonnie often allows fans within arm’s reach, but our team has successfully managed numerous situations to stop anything aggressive — whether verbal or physical.”
Bonnie Blue added in a statement that she was “totally fine”, adding: “Big thanks to my A+ security for keeping everything smooth.
“No scratches, no stress, and definitely no slowing me down.”
The online personality, whose real name is Tia Billinger, is halfway through a 12 day tour of events through nine UK cities.

A member of Bonnie Blue’s tour team told The Tab: “This may have seemed like a bit of fun to some people online, but because of who Bonnie is, there’s always the potential to attract extreme behaviour.
“Our priority has to be her safety, and we can’t afford to take these things lightly.”
Onyx was contacted for comment but has not yet responded.
