Everyone’s freaking out about this viral Zac Efron Prada ad, but is it actually real?!

TikTok is freaking out after a picture of Zac Efron posing for what looks like a new Prada ad went viral, and everyone wants to know if it’s actually real.

In the advert, the actor looks completely unrecognisable, with about 10 spray tans layered on top of each other and work done to his face, including fillers and Botox.

He’s wearing a full white suit and the picture is complete with the Prada logo in the middle in big black letters, and his name written underneath.

It looks like a real ad campaign and people on TikTok are going crazy. One person joked, “Who is that?” and another wrote: “Please tell me this is fake.”

People have been stalking Prada’s social media pages to try and find out if it was actually posted by the fashion house. Thankfully, the answer is no. Phew!

The whole Zac Efron ad campaign is fake and was made using AI. It was originally posted on a Facebook page called The Celeb Talk Girl, which is known for posting AI celeb parodies.

“Pop culture chaos, celebrity tea, parodies, and just the right amount of satire. All content is for entertainment and fair use purposes only. Please don’t take it too seriously,” the account’s description says.

Every post is pretty believable though, with real captions and fashion logos, so it’s easy to see why people were fooled. The Zac Efron one says: “Zac Efron x Prada drop their disco-inspired ‘Saturday Night Fever’ line.”

Thankfully, this one is 100 per cent fake, but Zac Efron has gone viral for a dramatic transformation before. In 2021, everyone noticed that his jaw looked different and suspected he’d had plastic surgery.

However, he was actually recovering from a jaw injury. The 37-year-old told Men’s Health he slipped while running through his house in socks and smacked his face on the corner of a fountain. Ouch! He lost consciousness and woke up with his chin bone hanging off his face.

This happened back in 2013, and he had to do loads of physical therapy in the years after to rehabilitate his face. However, he stopped doing the therapy for a while, which caused one of the muscles in his face to get really big, and that’s when the video went viral.

He never let the comments about his appearance bother him, though. Zac said: “If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do. I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this work.”
