People are just finding out what the HORRIFYING lyrics of that Brazilian TikTok song mean

A Brazilian TikTok song has gone viral worldwide, but people are horrified after translating the lyrics and realising what they’re actually singing along to.

The song Predador de Perereca from 1982 has been all over our FYPs this summer. The track is an AI-generated remix of MC Jhey’s 2015 baile funk hit Predador de Perereca, given a retro ‘80s pop makeover.

The original video has more than 26 million YouTube views, but the remix has taken on a life of its own, racking up over three million views since June and soundtracking endless TikToks.

Most people that use the sound are English speakers, and have no idea what it actually means.

The lyrics, once translated from Portuguese, describe two boys from the favela (a small Brazilian town) bragging about a sexual encounter with a Czech girl in a group situation. The verses are extremely explicit, including lines like, “She sits for three, she sucks three more, then.” The repeated chorus refers to the MCs as “frog predators” and boasts about “sharing” the girl.

“You, me, we put her on/The gang has arrived, it’s the frog predators/Naughty little p***y, share this Czech girl/Go sit down hard for the favela boys, then.”

Shocking, right?

For Brazilian listeners, the remix was mainly funny for nostalgic reasons. MC Jhey’s original was huge in 2015, so hearing it through an AI-generated ‘80s filter became a tongue-in-cheek throwback.

But once the song crossed into the English-speaking internet, it became a meme built on mistranslation. In one viral video, a TikToker acted out the scenario: “POV: Your gringo friend shows you this Brazilian song he found,” before urging him to turn it off.

Meanwhile, another TikToker admitted: “I looked up the lyrics to this song because it sounded fire,” before giving the camera a thousand-yard stare. His caption simply read: “Brazil, what is up with y’all?”

Despite the horrifying lyrics, the Brazilian song remix is still going strong on TikTok.

Its absurd combination of nostalgic Brazilian funk, retro pop synths and AI frog visuals has made it one of the most unexpected viral sounds of the summer.
