‘Lil Tay claims agencies offered her $40m deals for explicit content ahead of her turning 18

Lil Tay, the teenage internet personality, claims adult entertainment agencies offered her huge amounts of money ahead of her 18th birthday.

Lil Tay has just gone viral yet again, this time for saying she filmed content for OnlyFans within the first minute of her 18th birthday, then made over $1 million (£750,800) in three hours with “the youngest link of the century”.

According to Complex UK, Lil Tay said during a TikTok live that while she was still 17, lots of adult entertainment companies tried to secure deals with her. These agencies supposedly wanted Lil Tay to create explicit content with them as soon as she did turn 18. Lil Tay claims some of these companies offered her huge amounts of money.

She said: “A whole lot of agencies have been hitting me up, have hit me up even before my birthday, because they were like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s gonna drop the link.’ They were like, ‘We’ll give you $30 to $40 [million] to sign with us and drop the link with us.'”

However, she decided to make the content herself and upload it to OnlyFans. Lil Tay explained: “I’m like, ‘Why would I need you, though? I am the bag. I don’t need you to give me a bag. Don’t need your petty $30 to $40 [million].’ Like, come on.”

Lil Tay did not go further into detail about who wanted to sign deals with her, or show any proof that she was offered these amounts of money.

She is now charging OnlyFans subscribers $19.99 per month. Her page currently has 17,200 likes.

Lil Tay also hinted people had been asking her for explicit content long before she turned 18. She told viewers they could expect “everything that’s pre-ordered”, including requests from as far back as 2023.

In mid-July, Lil Tay began posting on social media about whether she should “drop the link” on 29th July – her 18th birthday. Her social media brands her as “the youngest girl on OnlyFans”.

Some fans were confused about her age. In 2024 it was widely reported that Lil Tay was 14. When she first went viral in 2018, she claimed to be nine, in which case she would only be 16 now. But Rolling Stone did see court records in November 2023 that showed she was 16 then. In which case, she would be 18 now. OnlyFans does also check the age of its users.
