The Shaman was right: Every eerie prediction she made in Squid Game has now come true
She was definitely on to something
Okay, I need to get this straight. The Shaman is easily one of the most mysterious characters in Squid Game. She’s not just scary, she’s downright unsettling. At first, you might think she’s a bit of a fraud. Remember in the hide-and-seek game when she lied about having visions? That threw us all off. But after the wild ending of Season Three, it’s clear she’s far more than that. Turns out, she really does have some serious prophetic powers.
As creator Hwang Dong-hyuk explained during the promotion of season two: “The Shaman can predict the future a little. Her shamanistic powers have nearly deteriorated, but there are remnants of them. It comes and goes like an on-and-off switch. She kind of lets us see into the future in season three.”
So, here’s a rundown of the Shaman’s most chilling and accurate predictions in Squid Game that came true.
