A viral TikTok shows the massive house party and police response
Police were called to a student party in Leeds after 30 houses allegedly sent in noise complaints.
At the party, one Leeds student caught an insider’s perspective of the action, sharing the police’s shut down to TikTok.
The viral TikTok video shows the party, which began on the evening of Sunday 1st June, continuing into the early hours of the morning, until the police arrived at around 2am.

The video starts by showing a woman who can be seen confronting a member of the crowd, though her complaints are seemingly dismissed, before the police are called. Approximately four officers attend the scene, coming to the house on blue lights.
The interaction is captioned: “Karen saying her daughter has a 9am exam,” with laughing and gritted-teeth emojis.
A hoard of people can then be seen standing outside whilst officers stop their reentry to the party.
The video has rapidly gained traction since it was posted, gaining over 200,000 views, and 13,000 likes.
Many expressed jealousy towards those who were there, with one comment saying: “Wish I was invited.”
However, the majority of viewers seemed to disagree with the activities shown in the video, leaving comments like “I would complain, that’s a house not a club”.
Another condemned how the neighbours were depicted: “Calling someone a Karen when their kid’s sitting their GCSEs the next morning is mad.”
