Four Love Island couples you totally forgot were still together after all these years

The show started a whole decade ago!

Series 12 is about to start, so it’s time to have a look at all the Love Island couples you totally forgot were still together after all these years.

The reality TV show began a whole decade ago and there have been so many couplings that it’s hard to keep up with who’s actually going strong.

Some of the OGs like Alex and Olivia and Jamie and Camilla are still firmly in our minds, but I bet you forgot about these eight lovebirds.

Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde

Nathan and Cara won series two of the show in 2016 and are now married with two children. Their son Freddie-George was born in 2017 and daughter Delilah followed three years later, in 2020. They have a stunning countryise home in Kent and often post about their family life on Instagram, if you want to take a peek at what they’re getting up to.

Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan

They only won Love Island two years ago in 2023, but Sanam and Kai were from the winter season so you might not remember them. The pair announced their engagement in April 2024 and are getting married really soon, on 1st August 2025. How exciting! Oh, and they have a Cockapoo daughter called Tinkerbell.

Dom Lever and Jess Shears

Another couple you might have forgotten about is Dom and Jess, who met on Love Island in 2017 and have a gorgeous home in Devon. Dom stayed in the villa for 11 days after Jess left and people thought they might not last on the outside, but they now have two kids together. Presley was born in 2019 and Abel came in 2022.

Lucie Donlan and Luke Mabbott

Lucie and Luke from series six are still together too, and he proposed to her under the Northern Lights all the way back in December 2021. They’ve only just started wedding planning over three years after the engagement though, because they’ve have had a busy few years renovating their Cornwall home which was originally a 1879 chapel.
