A breakdown of who from MAFS Australia 2025 was scouted, and who applied for the show
Two applied for completely different shows, but ended up on MAFS instead
Shock! More people were scouted for MAFS Australia 2025 than those who applied. It’s not even surprising now that when a reality show comes along, more times than not, cast members are approached. And then we’re supposed to believe they’re on the show for the right reasons.
Anyway, now the show has wrapped it’s time to see who was set on MAFS from the beginning, and who was just in the right place, at the right time. Plus, it would seem a couple of cast members wanted to be on other reality shows, but just took whatever was offered. Here’s a full breakdown of who from the cast of MAFS Australia 2025 was scouted, and who applied.

Who actually applied for MAFS Australia 2025?
So, it looks as though not many of the MAFS Australia 2025 cast actually did the entire application off their own back. Awhina has confirmed she applied, and she said so did Jamie. Jacqui told The Tab she applied for the show, and Clint seemingly did too.
Another person who applied was Tim, who you might have to really cast your mind back to remember. Tim was matched with Katie, said some pretty awful things about appearances, and then they left. Despite what a mess he made of being on the show, he was apparently desperate to get cast. So much so, he applied multiple times for previous seasons, too. His partner Katie has also said she applied.

Basically, everyone else. Beth confirmed in a chat with The Tab that she was scouted for the show, and it would seem many of her co-stars were too. It’s been pretty much confirmed every cast member who has been on reality TV before was scouted.
So that means, Carina, Teejay, Ryan, Paul and Sierah were all scouted. Awhina made a video and stated she and Jamie applied, so from that you could assume her parter Adrian was scouted for the show.
A couple of the cast applied for other shows, but ended up on MAFS instead
Dave apparently applied to be on a different Channel Nine show called FBoy Island Australia, but was eventually cast in MAFS instead. As well, Eliot told Yahoo Lifestyle he was scouted, got a bit confused, and thought he was going on an Australian property renovation show called The Block. No wonder he was shocked when he saw an aisle, and Lauren waiting at the end.
