Woah, five of the MAFS Australia 2025 cast were on reality TV shows before

Erm, this is awks. Loads of the MAFS Australia 2025 cast are actors, or have been on reality TV shows before. Well, maybe they signed up for MAFS because they knew they’d be comfortable finding love in front of the cameras. Or maybe they just wanted to be famous. You can make up your own minds. Here are all the MAFS Australia 2025 cast who were already on reality TV shows.

Carina

She’s made minor appearances on like, a gazillion reality TV shows. Carina popped up on The X Factor back in 2012, when her sister was a contestant. She was an extra on season one of the short-lived Keeping Up With The Kardashians spin-off show Dash Dolls, while she was still a student. Carina also appeared on an MTV reality show called, Love & Hip Hop. Her family’s hardware shop Beyond Tools featured twice on the property renovation show New Homes Guide. Carina showed the presenters around the store.

Paul

He was on another reality dating show back in 2022. The show was called The Real Love Boat, and was basically Love Island on a yacht. Paul managed to seduce a contestant called Courtney in French, but their relationship didn’t last very long.

Um, so Ryan is attempting to launch an acting career. He’s been an extra in a few TV shows. Ryan also appeared on the Australian dating show Beauty and the Geek (although, he was only on it for a matter of moments).

Sierah

She lasted for eight episodes in the 2021 edition of The Bachelor. After Jimmy chose not to be with her, she made an iconic speech. Sierah ranted: “I kind of had an inkling that Jimmy wasn’t into tall, horny bogans. I think any guy would be lucky to have me. If Jimmy can’t see that, I think that’s a him problem. If you don’t want to give me a rose fine, I’m not going to beat myself up that someone can’t handle a woman like me. I’m not gonna cry.” Love that.

Teejay

He was on Big Brother Australia in 2023, and flirted lots with the eventual winner, Ari. In a task on the show, Teejay revealed he’d slept with over 200 people.

Beth actually knew about his reality TV past while they were filming MAFS. She said this impacted their relationship, and made her question his motives for being on MAFS. Beth told Yahoo: “The first day at the wedding I found out he’d slept with Jamie, he’d been on Big Brother, and he’s slept with over 200 women. So when he’s telling me he needs an emotional connection to sleep with me, in the back of my mind I’m thinking, ‘F**k off, no you don’t! You’ve shagged so many women. You don’t need an emotional connection’.”
