Beth brutally accuses Teejay of having ‘ulterior motives’ for going on MAFS Australia
‘He wasn’t into me at all’
I hate to break it to you, but Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias from MAFS Australia are no longer together. This shouldn’t come as a massive surprise, considering how the last commitment ceremony went for them. Beth has now slammed Teejay for how she treated her on MAFS Australia, and accused him of having “ulterior motives” for sticking around for so long.
Beth told Yahoo she first doubted Teejay’s intentions on their wedding day. Apparently his reality TV past made her question whether he was on the show for love of fame.
She said: “The first day at the wedding I found out he’d slept with Jamie, he’d been on Big Brother, and he’s slept with over 200 women. So when he’s telling me he needs an emotional connection to sleep with me, in the back of my mind I’m thinking, ‘F**k off, no you don’t! You’ve shagged so many women. You don’t need an emotional connection’.”

Beth now believes Teejay didn’t fancy her but wanted to stay on the TV show. She said: “I don’t think he’s a bad person at all, but I think looking back now, he wasn’t into me at all.
“And so the only thing I can really think of is maybe he just wanted to stay for as long as he could to get as much fame as he wanted. I feel like there must have been ulterior motives. I’m a good person, I would never have treated him like that ever.

“So I think maybe he just wanted to stay on the show for as long as he could and maybe he had to string me along to do that until it was at the point where he was like, ‘Okay, I can’t keep doing this’.”
Although Beth’s relationship with Teejay didn’t work out, she found platonic love on MAFS Australia. She, Awhina, Jamie and Eliot are still super close after the show, and it’s super cute.
