Omg, first Love Island lad revealed as 6’5 ‘man mountain’ who loves to party

As the summer edition of Love Island 2025 approaches, producers are reportedly gearing up to announce a 6’5 personal trainer as the very first cast member. He was described as a “man mountain”, but don’t worry, he doesn’t resemble The Mountain from Game of Thrones.

ITV are set to announce the new series of Love Island any day now, with the show’s host Maya Jama earlier teasing a sexy business theme in a fun video last month.

“Attn. Love Island is coming soon. Attendance mandatory,” it said. “Signed, Maya. CEO of Love.”

Though some people, including a good old-fashioned nepo baby, have already been teased for the upcoming series, this new announcement definitely seems like the most credible, albeit a bit predictable.

Summer is just around the corner, which means that Love Island is back to once again make us obsess over the worst people you’ve seen on reality TV since Adrian Araouzou in MAFS Australia. Though an official announcement is expected very soon, a source has come forward with the first alleged cast member.

I’m yet to reveal any details about the new lad on the block, but I’m betting you can already paint a pretty picture based on previous seasons. The lads are almost always in either finance, personal training, or semi-professional football, and Londoner Aaron Buckett is more of the same. Would it kill producers to hire some rando who works in a Wetherspoons?

“It’s a fact of life that girls go crazy for a tall lad, and Aaron is a man mountain. He’s got great chat too,” a source told The Sun.

Standing at six foot five, Aaron Buckett is allegedly joining the cast of Love Island summer 2025. He’s a personal trainer with a substantial online presence, usually posting workout videos or piccies from sunny holidays and parties. Though Aaron’s inclusion seems like a done deal, producers are reportedly toiling over whether to introduce him in the opening lineup or as a bombshell.

“Aaron is in the mix for this year’s cast, but execs are still finalising whether he’ll be in the opening line-up or as a tempting bombshell,” the source added.

Other rumoured cast members include Gabriella Bardsley, the daughter of a Real Housewife of Cheshire, recruitment advisor Michelle Roscoe, Towie’s Ella Rae Wise, and influencer Kodie Murphy.
