They were born in Notts in September 2003. Bella’s family lives in Leicestershire, and they still go to local pub quizzes with their parents.

Bella Ramsey has struggled with anorexia

The actor has been very open about their battle with anorexia. They developed the eating disorder after filming season one of the CBBC show The Worst Witch. Bella has written a screenplay called Toast and Jam about these experiences. They’ve also overcome emetophobia – a pathological fear of vomiting.

Bella Ramsey has confirmed they are in a relationship, and told British Vogue they were “properly in love” while filming season two of The Last of Us.

They haven’t officially specified who they are in a relationship with. However, fans have theorised Bella has been dating the Canadian actor Maisy Stella since at least June. The pair have posted pictures of them embracing each other, and often comment on each other’s posts.

An interaction while filming The Last of Us led them to an autism diagnosis

A crew member has a daughter with autism, and assumed Bella was neurodiverse too. This led Bella Ramsey to get assessed for autism. They told British Vogue the interaction was “freeing” and makes them a better actor. Bella said: “I’ve always been watching and learning from people. Having to learn more manually how to socialise and interact with the people around me has helped me with acting.”

Nawwwww. Bella calls him “Pedge”, and referred to him in a Guardian interview as one of her “old guy friends”. Pedro Pascal told Esquire that they were constantly goofing around and giggling on set. He said: “We have fun even in the darkest moments for our characters.”
