This disastrous MAFS Australia 2025 editing error is definitely the most staged one yet

There was an editing error during the MAFS Australia 2025 homestays episodes, which really does prove just how staged the show actually is. There have been a lot of continuity errors and blunders throughout the show so far, but this one is definitely the worst.

During the homestays, things haven’t exactly looked good for couple Jamie and Dave. Their relationship is hanging by a thread, as Dave admitted he doesn’t have very strong romantic feelings for Jamie, shortly after she told him she loved him. He has seemed to do a complete 180 in their relationship recently.

But, his feelings aren’t the only thing doing a 180. It seems his facial hair is, too. Jamie didn’t even go to Dave’s house during homestays, but shortly after, Dave went to her apartment. He showed up with soft toys, and the promise to do better. Another thing he turned up with, was a distinct lack of beard.

No problems there, he’s shaved it off. But, what was shown to us as being the very next day, Jamie and Dave headed to his step sister’s house, to visit Dave’s dad. There, they were given the wholesome news that one of Dave’s dad’s tumours had completely gone, and two others had significantly shrunk. It was great news for all the family, and a huge weight seemed to be lifted from Dave.

However at the same time, Dave suddenly had a full beard once again. Yesterday he was clean-shaven? Somehow Dave has the power to grow a full beard overnight. Magical and very impressive.

According to So Dramatic!, there’s an explanation for what happened. It proves the show set up the two scenes to look differently. The publication noted Dave went from clean-shaven to full-face of beard overnight, and said it was “sneaky editing tricks from producers”.

It explained: “Dave’s emotional scene with his dad Howard was actually filmed before his confrontation with Jamie’s sister Georgia. However, in the edit, producers decided to switch up the sequence of events.”

The chat with Georgia was an entire episode before!! Nothing is real!!
