Jacqui claims she’s the smartest woman ever, but error in list to Ryan on MAFS says otherwise

During MAFS Australia 2025, Jacqui has made it very clear she values nothing more than her intelligence. She’s pretty much said she’s the smartest woman in the world, and brutally said groom Ryan had a “small brain”. But maybe she should be a little less harsh with her comments, because people have pointed out an error she made in the list to Ryan during homestays.

Usually, if someone made a little spelling error on a list, nobody would say anything. We’re all human, we make spelling mistakes. But Jacqui has gone on and on about how much more intelligent she is compared to everyone else in the world, that people have picked apart her error.

It was – of course – spotted on Reddit, and they’re talking about the irony of her comments, alongside a very simple word being spelt wrong.

During her homestay with Ryan, Jacqui discovered he has a whiteboard on which he writes a daily to-do list. Of course, she wasn’t going to leave it blank. Jacqui took it upon herself to give him a list of chores to do that day.

On her list, there were simple things such as brushing his dog Freya, and cleaning the sheets. But people noticed a huge spelling error. “Go to K-Mart for freash pillow/couch decor” one instruction read. Freash? Does Jacqui mean fresh?

One person one Reddit said: “Jacqui seems like the type of person to pick on small mistakes by others, so I don’t feel bad for pointing out that she can’t spell ‘fresh’. I know that spelling isn’t necessarily an indication of great intelligence, but I am still waiting for any evidence at all.”

They added: “I do love that her idea of optimal decor shopping is K-Mart, though – maybe we’d get along after all!”.
