This week, it’s been reported that Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson is now dating Love Island 2023’s Samie Elishi. Honestly, one of the best reality TV crossovers there might have ever been.

At the start of the year, it was revealed Sam and his ex Zara McDermott had broken up after five years together. More recently, it’s been confirmed Zara has moved on with One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson. But, don’t let that make you think Sam isn’t doing the same. He’s now reportedly dating Samie, and it sounds pretty serious between them!

The pair first met when Samie returned to Love Island for All Stars. She was dumped from the island, and at the time, Sam was a presenter on Aftersun. Shortly after this, they followed each other on Instagram. According to The Sun, Sam has since “grown close” to Samie, and they have apparently been “flirty messaging”.

A source said: “Sam found the split and its public fall-out very hard but Samie has put a smile back on his face. She is a stunning girl and he’s told a few pals about her. He seems excited.” The source added: “Obviously it’s early days, but clearly he has a thing for Love Islanders!”.

A further source spoke to MailOnline, and said Sam is beginning to “feel sure” about Samie, and is no longer fussed about if they get spotted out together.

Given Sam doesn’t seem to care if he and Samie are spotted together, they spent the Easter weekend hanging out in Chelsea. They reportedly spent the bank holiday “getting to know each other”. They attended the Fine Food Market there, which is known for its wine and food, and being a bit of a celeb hangout.

A source told MailOnline: “Sam and Samie are really getting along and if early signs are anything to go by, this could turn into a long-term relationship. It may be early days still, but they do really like each other.

“Sam is already introducing Samie to Chelsea by showing her off on the King’s Road over the Easter weekend and given how popular he is in the area, it meant a lot that he wasn’t hiding her away.”
