Jacqui Burfoot outlines why she won’t get another corporate job after MAFS Australia

Jacqui Burfoot talks rather a lot on MAFS Australia about how important her corporate career is to her. Before her stint on reality TV, she had several different jobs in law, finance and legal recruitment. She was also very vocal on the show about her concerns that Ryan was a part-time actor. But Jacqui doesn’t actually have a regular 9 to 5 job anymore after MAFS Australia.

After filming MAFS Australia, Jacqui did return to her old job at a law firm, but found she was “unable to work” and quit. She doesn’t plan to find another corporate job, either.

In an social media Q&A, Jacqui was asked: “Do you have plans to go back to a corporate job since the move to Tassie [Tasmania]?”

She responded: “No plans at all. It’s not possible right now. I’m actually still under a lot of emotional distress and can’t really concentrate during the day and have a lot of trauma that I’m processing with the help of therapists and things like that, so it’s actually just not possible even if I tried.”

Despite not having a full-time job anymore, Jacqui seems to have plenty occupy her time. She’s currently living with the MAFS groom Clint and his fabulous-looking dogs in his rather large house. She and Clint must be busy planning their wedding together.Jacqui has her own jewellery business, and about a thousand different hobbies to keep up. Plus, it must be quite time-consuming to upload so many TikToks about MAFS each day.
