Video catches man spying on Birmingham Uni student as she’s undressing in her room
Noelia said the man was peeping through the gaps in her blinds
A video has caught a man spying on a University of Birmingham student as she’s undressing in her room.
Noelia Bottomer posted footage to her TikTok account which appears to show a man looking through the gaps in his blind whilst she was getting undressed on 2nd April.
The video, which now has over 309,000 views, was filmed by her neighbours from across the street, who can be heard saying: “What’s he doing? I’m going to knock on [the door] and tell them someone’s doing that.”

In the footage, titled “live in Selly Oak and have random men look through your window whilst you dress”, the dark haired man can be seen walking right up to her window and peering in for a number of seconds before walking away.
In a separate video, sent to The Birmingham Tab by Noelia, the same man can be seen watching her a second time before walking in the opposite direction from the first video.

Speaking to The Birmingham Tab, Noelia explained it was about 9pm last Wednesday and she was getting ready for Sports Night, when there was a knock on her door.
She said: “The neighbours opposite me showed me the videos they had taken which depicted a man looking through my blinds five minutes prior whilst I was getting dressed.”
The student explained: “The blinds were completely shut so I never saw him but from the outside he was looking through the holes in which the blind strings sit and could visibly see me getting dressed. Because he came up onto the pavement area outside the front of our house (behind the wall) and knew exactly where to look.”
She contacted the police after this incident took place, and she said officers informed her that this mostly likely wasn’t his first time doing this to her or to other girls.
She added that there is now a case with West Midlands Police but that officers are unable to identify him from the video and that “it’s more of a situation where there is record of this event and if something like this happens again it will support this event and hopefully lead to identifying him”.
She shared: “I now have frosted window wrap on my windows to prevent this happening again but it most likely means this man will just move onto another house with another unknowing victim.”
However, Noelia did say that since the incident, she has had so much support from the police and other local girls in the area.
West Midlands Police has been contacted, and a statement will be added to this article if one is received.
