Eliot Donovan and Veronica Cloherty are not having a great week on MAFS Australia. In a task, Eliot was told to open up to Veronica by sharing a painful experience. Veronica thought Eliot’s story wasn’t personal enough, shouting at him, stormed out the room and moved into a whole different apartment. As one does. It was all deeply confusing.

Now, an anonymous MAFS Australia cast member has spilled some tea about Eliot and Veronica which provides way more context. The contestant told the Daily Mail Australia that even though Veronica was meant to be living with her “husband” Eliot, she actually spent most of her time at her own home.

The cast member said: “She was barely at the apartment. She preferred her place in the eastern suburbs.”

The MAFS contestants all stay in the Skye Suites Green Square in the middle of Sydney. Veronica also lives in the city.

Veronica keeps complaining on MAFS Australia that Eliot doesn’t open up to her enough, and she hasn’t got to know him very much. Hot take, but perhaps she’s know more about him if she actually spent time with him?! Although we can’t blame her for not wanting to live with Eliot.

MAFS Australia contestants aren’t allowed to leave the apartments too much. After two 2025 cast members broke the rules and stayed out all night, the producers made the curfew even stricter. Contestants aren’t allowed to stay out past 9pm on Sundays, or 8pm on other days. Their key cards into the building stop working after this time.
