Jamie gave Tim a huge ‘grilling’ at MAFS commitment ceremony but the whole thing was cut

There’s so much drama that wasn’t shown

Last night was the first MAFS Australia commitment ceremony and it was surprisingly tame – but that’s because some juicy moments were edited out.

Katie and Tim spoke about their failed marriage and decided to leave the experiment, and Ash and Jake discussed those shocking photo-ranking comments.

However, nothing really kicked off and it was pretty drama-free… or so it seemed. Jamie has revealed she actually lashed out at Tim at the commitment ceremony but it wasn’t aired on the show.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, she said: “Look, I had a few choice words to say to Tim. I think I probably said enough at the dinner party, so I think [the editors] were thinking, ‘Let’s just let Daddy John take the wheel’.”

“I could not tell you word for word what I said, but I was not impressed. I think he definitely had an idea that he was going to come in and get proven right.”

“I honestly believe his perception of his reality was that he was very much in the right and Katie was in the wrong. I mean, he got a rude awakening and obviously, that’s my girl up there,” she continued.

Jamie said other people were giving Tim a “grilling” that night too, but she thinks the brutal conversations were all edited out to “soften the blow” and protect the groom’s mental health.

“Tim definitely did get a grilling that night, he did. I think they softened it up a little bit because obviously everyone is quite fired up and I think just probably to protect [his] mental health, perhaps. But it was quite an intense commitment ceremony, for sure,” she added.

“A lot of us did get quite involved and comments were obviously made, but not everyone’s going to get shown. I think we needed the experts to take the wheel on that, and so that’s kind of what they did show.”

Jamie previously made her hatred for Tim pretty obvious at the first dinner party, calling him out after he refused to speak about his marriage to Katie and kept deflecting people’s questions.

“Am I the only one seeing what’s going on here? Am I out of my mind, why’s no one reacting?” she told her husband Dave, keen to defend Katie.

The blonde bride had no regrets, later telling Daily Mail Australia: “I just knew it with this man. Women’s intuition is real. And I’m so glad I went as hard as I did. Honestly, I’d go harder.”
