Police search for man following report of sex act in Lancaster

Reports say he was wearing dark faded jeans, a blue shirt, and a black jacket


Lancaster Police is searching for a man who allegedly performed a sex act in public in Lancaster.

On Wednesday 5th March at 4:20pm , a man was reported to have followed a woman and then performed a sexual act in public in Scotch Quarry, Wyresdale Road.

The man was described as being mixed-race, early 20s, over six-feet-tall, and of stocky build.

Reports say he was wearing dark faded jeans, a blue shirt, and a black jacket.

The same man was said to be spotted at 6:15am the next day in Williamson Park car park.

A police spokesperson said: “We want to speak to a man in connection with our investigation into a sexual act in public.

“Whilst an investigation is underway and we’ve been making numerous enquiries offline since it was reported to us, we are now asking for your help.”
