MAFS Australia 2025 bride launches police investigation against groom in ‘revenge porn’ scandal
She claims her groom shared ‘intimate content’ of her online
A MAFS Australia 2025 bride has launched a police investigation against her groom, claiming he has shared intimate and sexual content about her online.
Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly were matched by experts on the show. They then got married, and have moved in together as part of the experiment. But now, Jacqui has made the serious claims against him. She has said she has filed a police report against her groom, for revenge porn.
In an Instagram post, Jacqui accused Ryan of sharing “sensitive, private and sexual” content of her online. She said: “FYI, I filed a police report against Ryan yesterday after sensitive, private, sexual content revenge he has resorted to.
“I encourage anyone to disengage with this content as nobody deserves to go through this. Thank you to all the lovely humans reporting him. He is deleting all comments of people concerned of this nature but it’s a police matter now.”

She also shared a screenshot directly requesting Ryan remove any content of her, as it is a “violation of my rights”. She added: “And no, I am not playing victim. I am a victim. There is no shame on me, there is shame on you (Ryan, ESA, Channel 9 and his enablers who are continuing to enable his abuse and give him a platform to do so – like on the Today Show). I don’t know how any decent human being cannot see how wrong his behaviour his.”

Since the claims have been made, Ryan has switched off comments on his social media. The Tab has approached Channel 9 and Endemol, MAFS Australia’s production company, for comment. There has not yet been a reply.
Ryan has also not commented on the claims against him. There have not been any updates on the police investigation, which is now the second investigation MAFS Australia 2025 has had.
