Inside Tony’s wet and wild career as a charter captain before MAFS Australia 2025

As soon as it was said that Tony from MAFS Australia 2025 was a charter captain I needed to know more. So many of the cast members this year have been business owners, and whilst that is hugely commendable, my ears perked up at someone doing something completely different.

So, if like me you simply have to know all the details of Tony’s career, it turns out it’s going to live up to all expectations. He’s got an Instagram to share all the fun, and it seems he’s very well-known in his area, for his work. So here are all the details you need to know about Tony Mojanovski, and his wild boat captain life.

MAFS Australia groom Tony works as a charter captain

Tony is from Wollongong, but as we saw at his wedding, has rich Macedonian roots. He runs a fishing charter business and spends every day on the boat. In his MAFS Australia bio, it states Tony is “happiest on the water, the only thing missing from Tony’s life is having someone to share that happiness with.”

According to the Illawarra Mercury, Tony is a council worker and keen angler. He runs a fishing charter business out of Shellharbour Marina.

He owns MOJO Fishing Adventures. According to its website, MOJO specialises in “providing people of all ages and abilities with affordable fishing adventures. Whether you are an experienced angler, or just want a relaxing day out on the water, we can help.”

It’s a family business, which Tony shares with a family member called Michael. A day out with them comes inclusive of fishing equipment, bait, a license for the day, and refreshments. Sign me up!

Speaking to his local newspaper about being on the show, Tony was described as a “local hero”. In 2022, he helped rescue three anglers who were swept off rocks. He was walking his dog when he saw what happened and jumped into the ocean to help those in danger. Two of the men were rescued, but one tragically passed away.

Tony has an entire Instagram dedicated to charter captain fun

Tony shares all about the fun he has on his boat on a dedicated Instagram page. The page belongs to the business, and has just over 2k followers. It’s full of fun videos and pictures of them out and about on the boat.
