Omg, a Love Is Blind wedding guest is spilling all the wild behind the scenes tea we didn’t see

Imagine driving 45 minutes for one ‘little’ sandwich

A man who attended one of Love Is Blind’s dramatic season eight weddings has shared his experience of watching one of his friends be ditched at the altar by his bride.

The man, who is believed to be a close friend of Devin Buckley, attended the wedding between his mate and Virginia Miller last year but has only just shared his experiences. Despite having a stable albeit bland relationship in the earlier episodes, Virginia dropped one hell of a bomb when she told Devin no at the altar. We all saw it coming but Devin definitely didn’t.

It now seems that shock was shared by many people in the venue, as close friend Jake Tanner has since explained on TikTok.

Wedding

He had to cancel work for the wedding?

One of the first details Jake revealed was how the wedding between Devin and Virginia took place on a Monday and he had to cancel work to attend.

I get that it’s a reality TV show and filming schedules are busy but your marriage is basically doomed to fail if you’re tying the knot on the worst day of the week. It’s deranged.

You’re not allowed your phone

Upon entering the wedding, which was in a different part of the State and required roughly 45 minutes of driving, Jake said that producers took their phones away. As the weddings are filmed almost a full year before airing, this was probably to protect the show from leaks.

The wait was huge for the Love Is Blind wedding

Wedding attendees were undoubtedly bored without their phones, and to make matters worse, they had to wait HOURS before actually seeing the bride and groom.

“We were in that lounge area for like two hours bro, at least” he recalled. “They could have told us to come later or something because they were scrambling and it looked like they were trying to get stuff done last minute or something, which I get.”

There was like zero food

A wedding is only as good as its food which should tell you all you need to know about the culinary options at the Love Is Blind weddings. The producers reportedly only fed the guests a “little sandwich” while they were waiting and there was no food after the ceremony.

“Haha we got a lil sandwich when we first got there, no food after. I was upset lol,” Jake wrote in the comment section.

The TV show had ‘cameras everywhere’ – who could’ve guessed?

Upon FINALLY entering the venue over two hours later, Jake suddenly realised there were cameras everywhere. He claimed it looked like a movie set in the wedding venue.

The guests didn’t realise that no was an option

Arriving at the wedding, Jake and the other guests thought it was a done deal and just a formality, but as we know, that’s really not the case.

“It was crazy and I had never seen the show before. So I’m really like ‘Is this real, did that just happen?’ I really went in blind, no pun intended,” Jake joked. “I had no idea what was going to happen, could happen, I thought it was a wedding. I thought if they got the wedding part it was good to go. That’s what I had in my head.”

Nothing particularly crazy happened after that but Jake did recall a strange “vibe” between the two sides of the room.

“I’m glad the camera didn’t show me because I probably had a weird look on my face,” he added.
