I’m in! Inside the official Love Is Blind group chat where the cast is dropping serious tea

The Love Is Blind season eight cast now have their very own group chat and I was lucky enough to take a peek inside at all the juicy details and piping hot tea about the upcoming reunion.

Admittedly this season of Love Is Blind has been a little lacklustre and if it wasn’t for the combined efforts of Dave’s red flags and Mason and Meg’s eternal love, I would have switched off during episode two. But that isn’t to say there hasn’t been SOME juicy drama such as the recent leaks about the reunion.

Earlier this week, the cast members of Love Is Blind season eight posted links on their Instagram stories to their group chat. I entered my phone number, downloaded the app, got approved, and spent most of my evening obsessively combing through the messages.

Currently, Molly, Madison, Dave, Virgina, Brittany, and season seven’s Marissa George are in ChatBCC thread but more cast members are expected to follow.

It has not been a disappointment so far – here’s what I’ve learned.

Love Is Blind’s Molly is basically the best person in the world

You don’t have to tell me that season eight’s Molly Mullaney is an angel – her confrontation with Dave proved that – but the group chat has just reaffirmed the belief that Molly is by far the wholesome cast member.

People are quite literally singing her praises: “Btw I have to say it Molly – you freaking are amazing! Loved your convo with Dave at the cast party! And I appreciate how Dave recieved it. One of my fav scenes of the season!”

Madison seemingly agreed, echoing that Molly is “an absolute queen”, as Brittany added to the applause with how Molly is “dope and brave.”

There’s some DM drama

In the runup to the reunion, after leaks were spilt on the Reality Receipts podcast, Nick and Vanessa Lachey revealed a few of the juicy details we can expect. Among them was a “secret DM” that came to light.

Virginia, who has the best reunion look by far, added to the speculation by questioning “Who sent the mysterious DM.” People had some theories in the comments, but Molly said “It’s not who people might think it is.”

Ugh, I just NEED to know!

Dave doesn’t know what the tomato emoji means

It very well might have been sarcasm, but Dave questioned why people keep sending him tomato emojis. To break through the noise I’ll explain, Dave: People want to put you in the stocks and throw fruit at you.

“I think it means they really like you,” Madison joked, as Dave responded, “Of course. Duh, Dave.”

They asked Dave’s sister to come to the Love Is Blind reunion

Dave’s mysterious sister has been a major talking point for most of the season, so much so that Madison requested that she be added to the chat to answer some questions. Season seven cast member Marissa George clearly liked this and suggested that she come to the reunion.

Responding, Dave said: “My sister is insanely traumatized from the hate she received online, so I would prefer to leave her out of this chat as well please.”

The cast members quickly shushed when they realised the uneasy ground they were on, with Madison responding: “Ok, I’ll be on better behaviour.”

They’re going to make t-shirts if they ‘survive’ the reunion

Madison also suggested getting matching “I survived reality TV” t-shirts and Virginia seemed well up for it. Brittany even suggested selling the shirts, and if Mason has worn them before, I’ll take 50.

“Ofc we have to survive the reunion first,” Madison added, foretelling some serious drama in the upcoming episode.

Madison did not deny there’s BEEF at the reunion

Brittany did a casual bit of stirring in the late hours of Wednesday night, asking which cast members people thought were beefing by the end of the reunion. In the comments, when someone suggested that it would be Madison versus Alex, Mason, and Meg, she responded with “Who are you betting on.”

Most people seemed to agree that Madison would come to blows with Mason and Alex, and she liked the comments.
