Believe it or not, Millie Bobby Brown has nearly been married to her husband Jake Bongiovi for a whole year. Honesty, she’s achieved more at the age of 21 than most of us mortals do in our whole lives. The couple now live together on a ranch in the countryside filled with rescue animals, and it’s super wholesome. Here’s a look at what their marriage is really like.

It’s truly a love story for Gen Z. Apparently even super famous people attempt to pull by sliding into each other’s DMs. She was asked in a Netflix interview promoting Enola Holmes 2 how she met Jake. She said, “We met on Instagram, and we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?” It sounds like they had lots of mutual friends, before they started dating. The couple were definitely dating by June 2021. He was 19 and she was 17.

Their wedding was so lavish it was like a Pinterest board

Yes, her name is now officially Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi. She got engaged to Jake Bongiovi in April 2023. They had a secret private wedding in May 2024. Then the couple had a larger ceremony in September, but kept this info top secret until they blessed us all with pics in October.

The couple’s second wedding was at Villa Cetinale in the Italian countryside near Tuscany. It probably cost about €111,500 (£93,800) to hire out the whole venue. Parts of Succession were filmed there. Millie Bobby Brown wore no less than four different designer wedding dresses throughout the day. A Stranger Things actor officiated the ceremony.

The couple now lives on a farm full of rescue dogs

Honestly, you couldn’t make this up. Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi live on a huge ranch in the countryside in Georgia. She uses the space to run an animal rescue organisation called Joey’s Friends. Millie has nine pet dogs, and has fostered 23 more dogs. There are also horses, cows, sheep, gaots, donkeys and a cat on the farm.

They’ve really packed a lot into one year

Honestly, they’ve only been married for ten months. They’ve been on a trip to Dubrovnik in Croatia, partied at The Eras Tour in Cincinnati and a Sabrina Carpenter show in Atlanta, and visited Orlando Disney.

The couple also released doves from a yacht in the middle of the sea, which looked aesthetic on Instagram but doesn’t feel like a lot of fun for the doves?

Millie Bobby Brown spoke to Vanity Fair about her decision to get married at the ripe old age of 20. She said, “We were pretty united going into it. We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

She continued: “Loving someone and being in love are two different things. I think I loved a lot of people I was with, like I loved my friends. But he is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with. If we’re not fully invested, then what’s the point? We have to be, and we always have been.”
