Strike a pose: We judged Uni of York student’s street style

The University of York’s second semester has officially begun. No longer can you mope around your student house in pyjamas, you actually have to put something semi-stylish together and go to class. But sometimes you wake up and just don’t know what to wear. 

To help we have tirelessly scoured campus for style icons in order to offer you outfit inspiration. From puffer jackets to trench coats buttoned to the top, here are our fave York fits!!

New York nepos

These it-girls belong in New York City not York Campus Nisa. Their different styles blend together effortlessly, embodying the iconic Sex and The City Squad. And we LOVE the cow tote, very Charlotte York.

DJs in Docs

We caught this Daisy Jones copy heading to the Radio Studio with a newfound fan. Unintentionally twinning with the durable docs, these Vinted warriors are ready for a long day scouring the racks of York’s charity shops.

Chinos on campus

Clad in a Ralph Lauren jacket, and tan chinos this posh boy seems ready to debate in the DU. After further investigation, we found he has a real personality – saying something about streaming Cavalier Band.

Dripped out for ducks

Couples don’t copy, they match. These matching matcha drinkers were dripped out for duck feeding. Carabiner core is clearly strong on campus – hope he doesn’t forget who he is.

York’s very own Serena and Blair. Spotted in headbands and mittens, these girls are defo from the (upper) East Campus.  The only thing stronger than this female friendship is B’s pair of Onitsuka Tigers.
