The Love Island All Stars clashes that got the most Ofcom complaints for ‘bullying’

It looks like thousands of people wrote in about Elma and Ekin-Su

Well, we definitely all had a lot of feelings about Love Island: All Stars. Here are the episodes which the most people complained to Ofcom about. Over a thousand people sent in formal complaints about just one episode.

Ofcom (which is responsible for regulating TV in the UK) releases weekly audience reports, so you can see exactly how many people sent in formal complaints about each episode of Love Island: All Stars 2025. Conclusion: The nation has a lot of opinions about Love Island. The show literally got over 2,000 complaints in just one week. Ofcam said most of these complaints were about “alleged bullying behaviour between participants”. People thought some rows in the villa just went too far, and shouldn’t be shown on TV.

5th February – that was the peak of the Luca/Grace/Samie drama – got 57 complaints. 16th February also got exactly 57 complaints. That’s when the dumped Islanders returned to the villa to stir up drama. Olivia Hawkins dropped the absolute bombshell. “‘I’ve seen text messages of Grace just saying to someone that she’ll do whatever it takes to win the show this time from someone back home.” (Note: it now appears these text messages are likely to have been faked).

63 people complained about 13th February’s episode. This is the already infamous talent show episode. Maybe Love Island viewers through the Ekin-Su and Elma feud had gone a bit far. Or maybe they just couldn’t stand the sound of Luca’s singing?

In second place, is the episode on 11th February. A huge 820 people contacted Ofcom about it. This is when everyone sat down around the firepit for a gross-looking beef dinner, and serious beef followed. The couples read out the public’s responses to their questions. Everyone argued about whether Casey was only on the show for “clout”. Ekin-Su and Curtis were offended Sammy and Elma had rather pointedly asked the public if Ekin-Su and Curtis were the weakest couple.

Over a thousand people sent in formal complaints about just one moment of Love Island: All Stars 2025. The episode on 12th February got 1,347 complaints. That’s when Ekin-Su and Elma had their massive row. Ekin-Su accused Sammy and Elma of sabotaging her and Curtis ever since she kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge. It’s also the episode when pretty much everyone in the villa argues about whether Harriett told Casey “shut your f*cking mouth”. I guess the nation had a lot of feelings about all this drama.

None of the other Love Island: All Stars 2025 episodes made it into Ofcam’s weekly reports. This means fewer than 50 people complained about them all.
