Grace finally speaks out about *those* screenshots in first interview since Love Island

A lot has gone down

In the last few days, all everyone has been talking about after Love Island is the Grace screenshots scandal. She was accused of sending a bunch of messages to different people before the show, basically saying she’ll stop at nothing to win. People thought because of this, she had been faking her connection with Luca.

It’s widely now thought the majority, if not all, of the texts have been faked. Some Islanders have even come forward to say they made up some of the texts they previously shared as real.

On the show, Liv Hawkins said: “So I’ve seen text messages of Grace just saying to someone that she’ll do whatever it takes to win the show.” Then screenshots began to circulate, which appeared to be of Grace saying things such as: “I am being dead serious we can bet on it. I will win this.” Another said: “I’ll do everything and anything in my power to win babe.”

In her first interview since Love Island, Grace has clapped back at the texts once again. She always denied they were real. Speaking for the first time, she said: “I know in myself that I stand on it 100 per cent that I’ve not said that.”

She also doubled down on her and Luca having a real connection together. “I feel like for us on maturity level we’re at the exact same point,” she said of their relationship. “You’ve got to think, would my friends like them, would my family like them and I think we both knew hat that would be the case.

“Even just down to the way we communicate, the way we think, we’re always on the same page. I feel like we just built on that. We just naturally got on so well. More than what we thought and that brought us closer as we both didn’t expect it.”
