Sofia Vergara slated as ‘rudest celebrity’ they’ve worked with by Modern Family co-star

It might have seemed like the cast of Modern Family got on like a house on fire but it seems like one of them had some serious beef with Sofia Vergara.

And not just a little feud, we’re talking about them fully slating her and claiming she’s the “rudest celebrity” they’ve ever met. Yikes!

As for the Modern Family cast member who’s taken a vocal stand against Sofia Vergara, it’s none other than Kelly Mantle who appeared as a drag queen during one of the iconic Halloween episodes.

Kelly recently appeared on The Bald and Beautiful podcast where she was asked who the “most rude” celebrity she’s ever met was and her answer was absolutely savage.

Without missing a single beat she immediately responded “Modern Family” before adding that Sofia Vergara was a bit of a nightmare to work with on set.

She revealed: “Maybe it was just a bad day, I’m just going to say it was a bad day. Because she’s hilarious and beautiful and talented and gorgeous and wonderful. So I’m sure it was just a bad day.”

She added that it wasn’t “the most pleasant” experience she’s ever had, saying that the way Sofia Vergara treated her Modern Family staff didn’t sit right with the drag queen.

During the episode, Sofia is dressed up as Elsa and is obviously wearing a highly elaborate wig, but she refused to have any bobby pins put in her hair to help keep it in place.

Kelly continued: “In the shot, they yell ‘action’, and I’m supposed to put the crown on her hair, so I put the crown on and they say ‘cut.’

“And she’s like ‘watch out for the wig, you’re putting the crown on my head’. And I said, ‘Well girl, you should have put those bobby pins in.’”

Kelly added that “more happened” with Sofia Vergara than just that moment but it “was one of the little things that happened that day” on the Modern Family set.
