Lacey heartbreakingly says she now wants Nathan back, despite messy MAFS UK split

Lacey has admitted she wants groom Nathan back, despite how messy things have got between them since MAFS UK 2024. The couple made it to the end of the show together, but it was later revealed they’d since split.

Last week, Lacey spoke out about the break up for the first time, and said she “didn’t recognise” Nathan anymore, adding he’d blocked her on socials. “I genuinely didn’t think he would do this to me. What we had was so real and special,” she said. She added: “I’m just hurt because I just feel like he didn’t appreciate me in the end. I gave him my all. I genuinely did.”

Now, Lacey has admitted that despite all this, she wants Nathan back. Lacey said if Nathan too wanted her back, she would take it.

When asked if she would get back with Nathan, Lacey said: “I think I would, yeah. Because of how special we had it, and I did fall in love. I just feel like he owes me an explanation, instead of just saying positive vibes only.”

She added: “I did try and make Nathan realise that when I’ve tried to reach out, like, even the strongest couples argue, you know, but to completely withdraw and block me has broke my heart because despite our relationship, we had a good friendship and I just felt like I didn’t deserve how he treated me.”

It doesn’t look as though Nathan feels the same way. Soon after he gave his side, he did an interview and said he’d like to go on Celebs Go Dating.

He told Yahoo UK: “I have a lot of respect and care for Lacey. We both wanted different things. I went on the show to find love, and sometimes things don’t work out, but everything happens for a reason, and I’m so grateful for the time we shared together.

“Whilst I was hugely disappointed by the break up, and heartbroken, I respected her decision to part ways and I have nothing but love and good wishes for her. I wouldn’t have changed anything on the show, and despite what happened behind the scenes, I would still have chosen Lacey to be my bride, and I have nothing but respect and love for her.”

Later in the interview, Nathan admitted: “I really enjoyed filming the show. It was a bit daunting in the beginning but I really enjoyed it. I didn’t feel vulnerable on camera at all, and I’d love to do some other shows. Perhaps Celebs Go Dating, but I’d love to do Celebrity SAS.”
