‘We haven’t spoken’: Ali on her current relationship with Marcello after she won Big Brother

It really felt like two opposites were battling it out to win Big Brother 2024 when it got down to the final two on Friday night. Two warring factions. I kind of thought Marcello and Ali were on good terms, until the final night where everything erupted and thing seemed very frosty. The house is split on Ali and Marcello, and so are the viewers. Now she’s out and back in the world and speaking to press, Ali has shared her current relationship with Marcello after she got the Big Brother win with nearly 52 per cent of the vote. (52 per cent out of SIX people, mind you).

The house blew up again when discussing how close Ali was with Lily on Big Brother, which saw Emma and Marcello disagree with Ali. Ali addressed their relationship a bit on Late and Live after she won, but she’s shared more about the situation now which included how they haven’t really spoken but did have to share a taxi to the wrap party. Awkward.

Speaking to MailOnline, Ali explained “So Marcello and I haven’t spoken since the wrap party, but I think that’s more because we’re both just getting back in contact with our friends and family. We shared a taxi back to the hotel from the wrap party.

“As far as I’m aware, there’s no lingering or ongoing animosity, and I think we both know and have spoken in the house about how difficult and different the environment is in there and how it impacts how you resolve disagreements or don’t resolve disagreements.

“So we haven’t spoken, but that’s not a reflection necessarily on our relationship moving forward or about how we feel about each other.”

Marcello has posted a big statement since leaving the house, addressing the response from his critics. “Since leaving the house l’ve received messages telling me to kill myself, that my career will never go anywhere, that l’m a misogynist, homophobic and all the rest of it. I am going to say this now to be clear. I have nothing but love and respect for every single person in this world and do not judge anyone. Race, religion, sexual orientation, whatever it is, I treat all people how I would want to be treated, with understanding, love and respect.

“Thankfully I am strong and shake my head at everyone trying to put me down, I know myself and nothing you say is going to change that. I showed love & supported everyone equally throughout the experience and I wouldn’t change a thing. I wish love and blessings onto all of you. For everyone showing me love, I see it all. Thank you.”
