The first Love Island All Stars Islander has been revealed and it’s a 2022 series legend
I’m in!
The first Islander taking part in the 2025 series of Love Island All Stars has been revealed, and I don’t need the rest of the cast to tell you I’m hooked.
According to The Sun, 2022 Islander Gemma Owen has signed up to go back to the villa, after splitting from Luca Bish who she left the show with. In 2022, Gemma and Luca made it to the final, but announced they had split up just three months later.
A source told The Sun Gemma’s dad, Michael Owen, is “bracing himself” for his daughter to go on the show again, which she sees as a great “money making opportunity.”
The source said: “Gemma had a great time on Love Island in 2022… it wasn’t something she ever imagined signing up to but the entire experience caught her by surprise. She was incredibly young when she first starred on the show at 19 but now she hopes as a 21-year-old her first experience will help her at a second chance of love.
“Michael is bracing himself for another series supporting his daughter date in front of the nation – but he was so proud of Gemma during her first villa stint, he knows she’s sensible and can be trusted. As well as finding a long term partner, Gemma has seen how lucrative All Stars can be for the Islanders taking part and as a savvy businesswoman, she definitely sees it as a money making opportunity.”

Gemma has had a few rumoured romances since her time in the villa, but she’s been quick to shut them down. She was one of the most successful Islanders from the 2022 series, with brand deals and huge job offers since the show. The second All Stars version of the show is set to air in January 2025, with Maya Jama returning as host.
I wonder if they’ll stick Luca back in as a curve ball, too? 👀
