This weird production error on Love Is Blind proves meeting the families is all staged

I actually felt so sorry for Nick here

Despite being a reality TV dating show, Love Is Blind has had its fair share of production errors and staged moments over the years. With such a flailing season so far, it’s no surprise a few bits have had to be set up a bit more. There are only three couples left, and I’m only putting money on one of them to still be together, so the it makes sense that the producers are pulling out all the stops. Everyone just lacks chemistry, but now the show seems to lack the reality element too.

The Love Is Blind staged moment took place during the meeting the families and friends part of the show between Hannah and Nick. In episode 10, Hannah introduces Nick to her friends at a brunch, and the whole table orders food.

Firstly, we see a waiter bringing Nick a plate of food. Then, in the next shot of the table 10 seconds later, the plate of food mysteriously disappeared.

While the food is chopping and changing, Nick and the girls were carrying on the same conversation about the weird duck moment that happened in episode five on their holiday. Despite the food being on screen and off screen throughout the scene, Hannah’s friends continued discussing how they would react to the woman who was playing on the ducks with Nick.

Whatever the reason was behind the reshooting and editing of this scene, it’s very weird that Nick wasn’t allowed to have any food in front of him. I also have to know why meeting the Love Is Blind casts’ families and friends needs to be so staged. It doesn’t make any sense to me producers!
