Um, Cooper Koch was once in a Hannah Montana music video and I’m crying

This really is the best of both worlds

It turns out star of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story Cooper Koch was once in a Hannah Montana music video. He really is the man of the moment.

28-year-old Cooper Koch was a heartthrob in the video for Ordinary Girl, released on the Disney Channel YouTube page a huge 14 years ago, so he would have been around 14 himself at the time. Let’s just say, this role couldn’t be further from playing Erik Menendez on Netflix.

The music video follows the inner turmoil of Hannah coming to terms with the fact she’s not an ordinary girl at school anymore, and is in fact a global pop sensation.

It shows Hannah stepping out to a concert, before handing a digital camera (retro!) to an “ordinary girl” in the crowd. The girl then returns to school, and can be seen getting told off for focusing more on the footage on her camera than the lesson. The classroom, full of vibey 00s girls, then descends into dance – and the teacher is livid. Honestly, it’s impeccable story telling.

Then our boy Cooper makes his grand entry. A girl pops her head around the classroom door to see everyone dancing, and gets handed the camera by a pupil. On her way out, she backs into Cooper, who in a very classic boy in a school drama way, is engrossed in a text book whilst walking through the corridor.

The two then meet again by the lockers, and Cooper does a little pose for the camera. They then share a very cheesy *moment* staring into each other’s eyes, and the video is over. Not a Ryan Murphy production in sight!
