All the desperate attempts at fame the Selling Sunset cast made before the Netflix show

Not Emma being in a reality show following aristocratic families

We might have first seen the real estate girlies on Selling Sunset, but it turns out most of the cast have tried their luck at fame before. Yep, these girls had their eyes set on getting famous way before The Oppenheim Group came along.

The realtor cast have been on other reality TV shows, shared videos of them singing cover songs on YouTube, and have had cameo roles in films and other series. You have to respect the grind!

Here are all the attempts at fame the cast of Selling Sunset made, way before they become big through the Netflix show.

Amanza used to be a briefcase model for Deal or No Deal

Before her real estate and interior design career, Amanza has been a successful model and worked in entertainment – she was even an NFL cheerleader for the Indiana Colts. One of Amanza’s modelling jobs was being a briefcase model for Deal or No Deal, and she’s also featured in various magazines and TV adverts.

Heather appeared on Hell’s Kitchen!

Heather has worked as a Playboy Bunny, and popped up in the tenth episode of season 16 of Hell’s Kitchen. This was aired on Fox on December 16th, 2016. During the episode, the winning team of the challenge was rewarded with a chance to live it up in the Playboy mansion – and who was there to greet them? Our Heather, of course!

Heather has also had a few random extra roles

On top of her rogue Hell’s Kitchen cameo, Heather has also had small roles in a bunch of films and TV series. She has 10 acting credits on IMDb, and these include playing “Exotic Dancer number two” in The Internship, and “Beach Woman” in Comedy Bang! Bang!.

Bre has hit the small screen a couple of times

What Bre has failed to mention when talking about her past and career, is that she actually has tried to hit it as an actor before. She has a few credits to her name, having been in one episode mystery drama Lie to Me back in 2010, as well as Knight of Cups in 2015. For both jobs she was uncredited, though. Savage.

She was also a cast member on WAGS LA, a show that featured the lives of the wives and girlfriends of professional athletes. She was on this when she was engaged to Johnny Manziel, an American former football quarterback.

Emma was on Southern Charm

Emma clearly tried to break the reality TV world long before Selling Sunset, as she was at a party during season three of Southern Charm. If you’re unfamiliar with it, the show follows aristocratic families in Charleston, South Carolina.

During an episode, two of the main cast members, Craig and Shep, headed to LA and went to a party and met Emma and some others there. “Are y’all California girls?” was how the boys greeted them.

The actual Christine Quinn used to sing on YouTube

As well as being the queen of real estate and OTT outfits, Christine also has a talent for singing. An old video of her sat at home in her comfies singing on YouTube resurfaced whilst she was still in the cast of Selling Sunset.

It’s a YouTube upload from her friend, Lindsey Jan, and it was uploaded in 2013. The title of the video says it’s by Lindsey and Christine Bently – which apparently is her last name, but she stopped going by it when she joined The Oppenheim Group.

Christine was also in a god-awful horror film

Before she was everyone’s favourite reality TV villain, Christine Quinn looked totally different starring in a movie in her acting days. The film looks absolutely terrible, but Christine’s cameo is nothing short of Academy Award deserving – as she gets gobbled by a shark early on, whilst rocking a typical hot blonde girl in a horror movie white bikini.

The film is from 2011 and is a horror thriller called Shark Night 3D. It follows a group of seven friends who go to the Louisiana Gulf for a party weekend away. However, things turn dangerous after blood-thirsty sharks attack them multiple times. Christine Quinn plays Jess in the movie, and only appears at the beginning of the film, quickly becoming the shark’s first victim.

AND she was in Hot Tub Time Machine 2

Um, where is my girl Christine’s Oscar? In 2015 she featured in Hot Tub Time Machine 2, where she played someone also called Christine. I wish I could tell you more, but you’ll just have to watch it for yourself.
