From before Selling Sunset to now: Inside Chelsea Lazkani’s wild and enviable life

The agent everyone is talking about in the most recent season of Selling Sunset is Chelsea Lazkani. She is the moment. Despite going through a divorce and other dramas with the Oppenheim Group girlies, she never stops giving. An icon, really.
From before the show to now, Chelsea has had a very colourful career and personal life. She’s worked hard to get where she is now, and has also focused on her family life, and of course, having fun outside all of that.

Chelsea is from London and is British-Nigerian. Right now, she’s 31-years-old. Chelsea is clearly very, very smart – because she has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s.
She attended the University of Buckingham between 2011 and 2013 and achieved a degree in Business Economics and Economics, before heading to the University of Dundee from 2014 to 2015 where she got a Master’s in International Oil and Gas Management.
She joined the cast of Selling Sunset during season five, when she was introduced as a friend of Christine Quinn’s, who worked in the real estate industry.

When Chelsea first joined the show, she spoke about how her mother had a huge influence on her work ethic and want to succeed. She said she was raised by an “incredibly hands-on and successful mother” and that her mother is one of the most successful Black women in corporate America.
Chelsea’s mother is called Elizabeth Adefioye, and her father is called Segun Adefioye. Her mother Elizabeth has worked as Chief People Officer at Emerson and her father is an accomplished architect and property developer. Chelsea’s mother has worked at Emerson since late 2021. Emerson Electric Co. is an American multinational corporation and is a Fortune 500 company with approximately 83,500 employees. It has reported revenue of over $16billion.
As well as this role, Elizabeth works on the board of directors for a charity in Chicago. Before this she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at food company, Ingredion. Her LinkedIn states that she was once featured in a list called “The Most Powerful Black Women in Corporate America”- so Chelsea was very accurate with her description of her mother.
Chelsea has made herself an enviable net worth from real estate and Selling Sunset
Chelsea has an estimated net worth of around $500k. When she joined Selling Sunset, she already had five years of experience in real estate, and previously had a much more corporate job, working as a business strategist and solar analyst with companies in the oil and gas industry.
According to her LinkedIn, Chelsea joined The Oppenheim Group in July 2021 after working for her previous brokerage for just under three years.
Chelsea has been married to Jeff Lazkani since 2017, but they’re now getting a divorce

Chelsea met businessman Jeff Lazkani in 2015 after they met on Tinder when Chelsea moved to America. The couple got married two years later, in 2017. Chelsea and Jeff share a son and a daughter, Maddox and Melia.
Jeff Lazkani is extremely successful and is currently a managing partner at Icon Media Direct. According to LinkedIn, he’s worked for the company for 18 years and has worked his way up the ladder to his current position.
In March 2024, Chelsea filed for a divorce from Jeff. At the time, in documents obtained by a number of outlets, it was stated she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
Shortly after the news of their divorce, it was reported Chelsea filed because she believed Jeff had been “cheating for months”. It was said she was “devastated” and the couple are no longer on speaking terms. Jeff has never addressed these claims.
Chelsea has over 700k Instagram followers, and shares her love for cooking
Right now, Chelsea has just over 700k followers on Instagram and the main content she posts is cooking videos. She clearly loves cooking, as she has super high-qual videos of her working on recipes in her pristine kitchen. Her bio has the chef emoji in it, and her videos are giving Nigella Lawson vibes, if you catch what I’m saying.
She also shares pictures hanging out with her Selling Sunset besties Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause, and her at home with her children.
