Erm, JoJo Siwa is saying she’s in talks to represent Poland at next year’s Eurovision!?

Her dad is actually of Polish descent

| UPDATED

In the wildest news of the week, the pop icon and literal “inventor of gay pop” herself JoJo Siwa is saying she’s genuinely in talks to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. No, this is not a drill. No, this is not a joke – although JoJo herself has said it did actually start as one. Since one of her new songs has started going viral in Poland, a fan suggested that JoJo Siwa represent the country at next year’s Eurovision. Turns out this is not but a dream, and may actually be happening. And if I’m actually being honest – she’s kind of a perfect fit.

In a video where she’s getting ready to travel to Poland, JoJo explains “Somebody asked if I was going to do it at Eurovision because it was going viral in Poland. I initially jokingly replied to the comment saying yes, but now it’s actually become a real conversation. Eurovision’s into it, we’re talking to the people in Poland because each country essentially decides who goes to Eurovision.

“We’ve been talking to everybody, obviously there’s a lot of logistics. One of the big logistics is I have a project I’m committed to for when Eurovision is actually happening but I might be able to make both work. If Poland wants me to represent, I will be there. I will make it happen.

“For Eurovision you can’t do a song that’s already been heard, and I did come up with a song that I would 100 per cent do. I can’t wait.”

JoJo then posted a video in Poland saying the meeting went really well. JoJo’s father is of Polish decent, which explains how she would be able to represent the country if all goes well and she gets chosen by Poland as their representative as the competition goes to Switzerland in 2025.
