Ranked: Which of the Love Is Blind UK brides had the most expensive wedding dress

Catherine’s was the cheapest, and Sabrina’s cost well over £1,000 more

One of the most tear-jerking moments of Love Is Blind UK was seeing each bride in her wedding dress for the first time. We watch the drama for weeks, but seeing the brides at the end of the altar all ready for the big moment is a stark reminder of how real it all is.

It’s previously been reported that Netflix has a set budget for each of the wedding days, but who got the best treatment during the first UK season of the show? Evelie, a wedding dress boutique in London, has posted to say it was where all the brides headed to get their gowns fitted. So, I took a quick look on the website to see the prices next to each style the shop said the girls wore.

Here is a ranking of Love Is Blind UK girlies, by who had the most expensive wedding dress on their big day.

6. Catherine – £1,195

Maybe the producers didn’t have too much optimism going into Cat and Freddie’s wedding, because the smallest amount of the Love Is Blind UK wedding dress budget was spent on her. She had the Adore Leia dress, which on the website sells for £1,195.

The dress is described as a “stunning A-line gown that boasts modern detachable straps that offer versatile styling options, allowing the bride to customise her look.”

“The joy on Catherine’s face was palpable as she admired the finished gown,” the dress seller’s website said about her time getting it fitted. “Catherine had a moment to herself, soaking in the excitement and anticipation.”

5. Demi – £1,400

To walk down the aisle towards Ollie, Demi wore a £1,400 gown. Her dress had a plunging neckline and sequinned lace appliqués. “The happiness on Demi’s face was undeniable as she admired the intricate lace and the flattering fit of the gown,” the dress retailer said.

“One of the most touching moments was captured as Demi left the changing room to approach the bridal shop podium, preparing to reveal her stunning look to her family members. The anticipation and excitement was palpable as she made her way to the podium.”

4. Nicole – £1,650

The dress Nicole wore on her Love Is Blind UK wedding day with Benaiah cost £1,650. Again it was a lace number, with a plunging neckline and delicate straps. Nicole being Nicole began to sing during her dress fitting, and humming The Wedding March. “I love it,” Nicole said, as someone at her fitting revealed the dress’ stunning lace train.

3. Maria – £1,850

Maria wore the Aire Barcelona Sibett dress, which has a retail price of £1,850. “The fitting was filled with joy and anticipation as Maria tried on the gown and saw her bridal vision come to life,” the Evelie website states.

Maria was clearly overwhelmed by the whole experience, and had to get fanned down by someone at her dress fitting, as she first looked at herself in the gown.

2. Jasmine £2,000

Jasmine had the second most expensive dress, the Lillian West style, retailing at £2,000. The dress is said to “perfectly capture modern elegance with a touch of whimsy” and it brought “sheer joy” to Jasmine when she saw it customised to her and come together. “I love it,” she said in a video trying the gown on.

1. Sabrina – £2,505

Finally, the most expensive dress was worn by our girl Sabrina. I mean, she deserved her princess dress after giving us an actual fairytale storyline with Steven. Her dress was worth £2,505 – nearly £1,500 more than Catherine’s gown.

It’s described as having a “timeless elegance and classic design” and an “elegant structure” that “highlights Sabrina’s natural beauty, making it an ideal choice for a bride who values tradition with a modern twist.”
