The way that Gypsy Rose is sharing her pregnancy online, I honestly feel like I could be her child’s godmother. From nursery shopping to scans, Gypsy has taken us along her pregnancy at literally every step of the way – and my god there’s been a lot to keep up with. In the last few months alone she’s divorced Ryan after a two year marriage, and is now pregnant with her new partner, Ken’s child – with a paternity test nigh. Gypsy married Ryan whilst in prison, but they split up after two years together

Gypsy Rose met Ryan Anderson after he sent her a letter to her in prison in 2020. He was working in a hospital at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and they began email correspondence before obtaining a marriage certificate on the 27th of June 2022, whilst she was still in prison. They married on July 21st in a small prison ceremony with no guests.

But just two years later and only three months after Gypsy’s release from prison, the couple split up, allegedly due to Ryan’s snoring and food hoarding. It was a shock to us all to say the least, especially after she told the whole internet that Ryan’s “D” was “fire”.

Only a few months after her split with Ryan, Gypsy moved on with her ex-boyfriend, Ken Urker, who she was initially engaged to before Ryan in prison. The pair even got matching tattoos as a symbol of their commitment to one another.

Soon after their rekindling, Gypsy announced she was pregnant with her first baby, to be due in January 2025.

Speaking in her first interview since announcing her pregnancy, Gypsy revealed the moment she found out she was pregnant. She took a pregnancy test at her father, Rod, and stepmother, Kristy’s, home. After getting Kristy to look at the test just to make sure, she apparently replied “Girl, you’re pregnant.”

Gypsy Rose said she was surprised because she had recently been to the doctor about trouble ovulating, and had ruled out pregnancy. “I literally had taken that out of my mind as a possibility,” she said. But her first words were: “My dad is going to kill me!”

Gypsy asked fans to send her gifts from her baby registry despite huge net worth

Back when she was three months pregnant, Gypsy shared her baby registry list online, asking fans to buy her gifts which would “truly help us”. Some of the listed items included a $600 pram, $529 cot and $270 baby swing, whilst cheaper items under $50 included a baby monitor and blankets – and all of them were bought within 13 minutes of the listing. Fans were still able to send the pair gift cards and money to put towards her baby.

This stirred up some controversy, as Gypsy is said to have an estimated net worth of over $3 million (just over £2.3 million).

Gypsy revealed her fornication timetable to prove Ken was the dad

Following her split with Ryan, people started to second guess whether Ken was actually the father to her child. With there not being a lot of time between her two relationships, rumours circulated online, resulting in Gypsy sharing a detailed account of her fornication with Ken which proves he must be the father.

She wrote: “Left Ryan March 23rd, had a period April 17th. Made love with Ken and only him April 27, 28, 29, 30, conceived on May 4th and positive test on May 24th. KEN IS THE FATHER.”

The happy couple shared the news that they’d soon be welcoming a baby girl on August 10th, after hosting a gender reveal party.

Gypsy posted a video to Instagram of herself and Ken addressing the baby, where she says: “Hi sweetie, I’m your mom.”

Ken adds “And I’m you’re dad”, before they both collectively announce “And you’re a girl.”

According to Louisiana state law, if Gypsy Rose gives birth before her divorce with Ryan is final, Ryan would be listed as the father on the birth certificate.

Gypsy filed for divorce from her husband Ryan on the 8th April, shortly after they announced their split – but the divorce proceedings are still currently underway and may not be finalised by the time the baby is born. The only way to change Ryan’s name from going on the birth certificate would be with a paternity test showing Ken’s the dad.

Ryan announced online on the same day Gypsy and Ken shared their gender reveal that the paternity of the unborn child still needs to be confirmed through DNA testing. In a TikTok livestream, Ryan explained that it’s proper protocol to have a DNA test conducted in order to establish paternity for separated couples who are still married under Louisiana state law.

He said: “I have to get a DNA test. I don’t have a choice. I hate being in this situation.”

Offering his opinion on whether the baby could be his, Ryan added: “‘The way the timeline matches up — I don’t think it’s mine, but I don’t know. The DNA test is going to prove it.

“Crazier things have happened. I just don’t know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions.”

After previously stating that he doesn’t think he’s the father to Gypsy’s baby, Ryan has since decided to wait on taking a DNA test.

A source told TMZ that Ryan and Gypsy plan to delay DNA testing until after her baby girl is born, when it will be easier and cheaper to check the child’s DNA.

A paternity test before the birth of the baby is said to cost anywhere between $500 to $2,000, whereas a post-birth test is much cheaper and costs between $150 and $200.
