Ranked: The Love Island 2024 cast members who gained the most Instagram followers
Time to cash in!
They might say otherwise, but I’m sure the first question the cast of Love Island 2024 had when they left the villa was how many followers they’d gained on Instagram. It used to be the big thing after the show, with ex-Islanders coming out to millions of new adoring fans.
Look, let’s pull the band-aid off pretty early and say the Islanders don’t gain millions of followers anymore. It’s simply not a thing. But they still get lots of attention, and undoubtedly a few brand deals with trickle in soon.
Here’s a ranking of the cast members from Love Island 2024 who gained the most Instagram followers.
11. Nicole Samuel – 295k
Most Read
The first on the list is Nicole, who might have come second overall on the show, but ranks a lot lower for Insta gains. She’s currently sitting on just under 300k – but there’s still time for more to come in!
10. Harriett Blackmore – 315k
Harriett was truly gone too soon, and clearly over 300k people agree, and have gone to follow her since. I just want Ronnie and Harriett updates every day!
9. Emma Milton – 329k
Who’s Emma? It seems like a lot of people actually do know, and I can’t ignore that the Casa Amor bombshell has 329k followers right now. She’s cheating though, she was an influencer before the show with bags of followers already.
8. Ciaran Davies – 354k
Usually the female halves of couples gain loads more followers than their male counterparts, but Ciaran is breaking gender stereotypes! He’s gained loads more followers than Nicole, and currently has 354k.
7. Jessy Potts – 367k
Despite being pipped just before the final, Jessy has gained a decent amount of Instagram followers from her time as a Love Island 2024 bombshell. Right now, she has 367k.
6. Samantha Kenny – 389k
Samantha might have been dumped early on, but clearly she had a big impact on us all, as she has nearly 400k followers to her name. She was also the first 2024 Islander to bag herself a brand deal – I hope she’s ready for this lifestyle!
5. Matilda Draper – 442k
Matilda clearly won our hearts, and is just in the top five with 442k followers currently. Her other half Sean didn’t make the list, so yet again she’s carrying the two of them.
4. Grace Jackson – 521k
Grace worked in social media before the show, so had gained a decent following ahead of the villa. She’s no stranger to influencing and modelling, and now has over half a million followers to match. She’s apparently inundated with brands wanting to work with her after the show, and you can see why.
3. Mimii Ngulube – 644k
Our winner Mimii is just in the top three, with 643k followers since the show. It’s definitely nowhere near the millions previous winners of the show used to get, but it’s high for this season! Plus, she’s has Josh too, of course.
2. Uma Jammeh – 777k
Uma won the show in so many ways. She’s the girl who has gained the most followers from Love Island 2024, and she also had the wholesome moment of leaving with Wil, who she’s still going strong with. Since then, it’s been impossible to not want to keep up with her, and nearly 800k people have chosen to give her a follow.
1. Joey Essex – 2million
Of course, the king of reality TV himself has the most Instagram followers after Love Island 2024. Granted, he had a large percentage of this following before the villa, but two million simply can’t be ignored.
