25 year old paedophile Alex Williams who sent Huw Edwards child abuse images revealed
He has apparently ‘gone into hiding’
Images have now been revealed of Alex Williams, the 25 year old paedophile who sent indecent images of children to former BBC presenter Huw Edwards.
The Met Police said Alex, from Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales, pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing category A, B and C images as well as possessing prohibited images of children.
Category A images are the most serious and include penetrative sexual activity, sexual activity with an animal or sadism, while category B images involve non-penetrative sexual activity. Category C means the images do not fall into categories A or B and do not depict any sexual activity.
He has been convicted of seven offences and received a 12 month suspended sentence on March 15.
According to The Daily Mail, Alex Williams has “gone into hiding”, and his parents have confirmed he no longer lives with them. His parents also denied having any knowledge their son was a sex offender and claimed to be unaware that he was convicted of child pornography offences earlier this year.
His parents claim they have not seen him for three to four months, however, the Daily Mail claims neighbours said they saw him in their street within the last few weeks. The mother of Alex Williams has also claimed she had no knowledge of the connection between her son and Huw Ewards.
