Tiffany slams Love Island for depicting her as a ‘weirdo’ who only talks about raspberries

Tiffany might not have been in the Love Island villa for too long, but she was certainly one of the most memorable cast members to grace us with her presence. Her conversation with Ronnie about raspberries will forever be engrained in my mind.

However, she’s now slammed Love Island producers for deliberately making her out to be a “weirdo” who only talked about raspberries and made “dolphin noises.” I mean that is a pretty accurate depiction of her time on the show tbh.

Speaking to The Sun, Tiffany revealed: “They did portray me to be like a bit like a weirdo that made dolphin noises and stuff. So I thought that the public kind of gave me a bit of abuse for that I mean, like I came across a bit ditzy, which I am a bit ditzy.

“I will put my hands up, but like there’s a lot of like I got quite a lot of trolling like ‘lights on no one’s home’, and I got a lot of abuse like about like my teeth and things. I think I was self conscious before, I got invisalign and composite bonding.

“Everyone was giving me hate for my teeth, calling me ‘teethany’. I mean it’s not nice. Everyone was like this girl all she does is just smile and open her mouth. I think it is obviously a very surreal thing in there. But yeah, the way they portrayed me is like I literally like have no personality, and that I don’t know how to have a conversation, and all I speak about is like raspberries.

“But I actually do like have a bit about me. I’m actually a normal person… I do have a personality. But yeah, on there. I don’t know what the producers were trying to do to me, but they were making me out to be a weirdo.”

Tiffany previously revealed she actually shaved her teeth to make them appear smaller following harsh comments from fans saying they looked “too big” for her mouth. In an interview with The Sun, she admitted: “Yeah to be fair the comments did get to me a bit because I actually did go and get my teeth changed. I did look back on the clips and everyone’s going ‘too big – her teeth are too big for her mouth’. So, like, I’ve got them made a little bit more natural. They shaped them a bit more natural.”

She continued, saying: “But, yeah, everyone was like, Tiff, you didn’t need to do that. But when you just read it so much it does get to you. Yeah, literally, as soon as I saw them, I was like, ‘I need to go to the dentist. Oh my God.’ I just think everyone preaches this whole be kind, and then they’re not kind.”
