Meet the full glam cast of Buying London, Netflix’s new UK Selling Sunset style show
It’s coming later this month!
Netflix has finally revealed the full cast of Buying London, the Selling Sunset style show that is set to be released later this month. Buying London is going to be pretty much everything you get from Selling Sunset, but based in the UK. Think huge houses in Chelsea, Mayfair and beyond, and drama from the agents as we go along.
Netflix has revealed the release date as May 22nd, and shared which agents from DDRE Global we will be watching as they take on luxury real estate in the capital, London.
So who is in the cast of Buying London on Netflix? It’s time to meet the agents!
Daniel – The Boss
The big boss at DDRE and self-styled “Mr Super Prime”, enterprising Daniel wants to revolutionise the real estate industry after 25 years in the business. Having started out selling studio flats, he’s now at the top of his game as the go-to luxury agent in London with some of the capital’s most eye-wateringly expensive properties on his books.
Daniel demands the best from his staff and expects them to go at 100mph just like he does, but being married to the job has meant many personal sacrifices along the way. When his close friendship with Lauren causes strife in the office, Daniel has much more than just the next multi-million pound deal to sort out.
Lauren – Agent
Most Read
Steely Amazonian blonde Lauren is the top agent at DDRE and never tires of reminding the rest of the office about her long-term friendship with boss Daniel. Fiercely driven and ice cool under pressure, the South African believes her expertise and experience mean she’s a cut above her colleagues and therefore deserves to be given the agency’s swankiest properties to market.
But Daniel’s apparent favouritism towards her causes a clash with another colleague in an explosive feud which reaches boiling point and could threaten the future of the business.
Rosi – Agent
Made in Chelsea fans will definitely recognise Rosi, as she was previously on the show. Having grown up in Holland Park, Rosi knows prime central London like the back of her hand. She claims to have new money clients all over the world, but her nose is put out of joint when she sees the biggest properties being handed to teacher’s pet Lauren, who she believes has Danny wrapped around her little finger.
Sweet-natured Rosi is always on hand to offer advice on colleagues’ personal problems, and when told to team up with lone wolf Oli, an unlikely friendship blossoms with unexpected results.
Oli – Agent
Tall, dark and handsome, smooth-talking Oli is a posho with enviable connections right across London’s high society. A reformed party boy with hints of a shady past, he is now settled down and happily married to Vivi, the woman who finally tamed him. But is he able to resist the temptation of one flirtatious colleague and keep his marriage on track?
A sharp dresser, Oli is always suited and booted, but can be tactless, and has an unfortunate penchant for making an awkward situation far worse.
Reme – Agent
At just 21, rookie agent Reme is the baby of the office and desperate to impress boss and mentor Daniel who calls her his “rough diamond.” Warm and bubbly, but equally determined and ambitious, Reme is a rising star on the look-out for the big money opportunities which will help her make her mark at DDRE.
Caught up amongst the intense rivalry in the office to secure the best properties, will the newbie manage to steer clear of friction and cut through the competition to prove herself to Daniel?
Rasa – Agent
Headstrong Rasa is a well-connected hustler with a black book bursting with the phone numbers of millionaires and billionaires. Always at the heart of the office politics, she’s unafraid to speak her mind and never shies away from confrontation, even if that means locking horns with the other agents, causing Daniel to force her to resolve differences.
But beneath the tough exterior, is there a more vulnerable side to Rasa?
Juliana – Interior Design
Self-assured Juliana reckons she’s the hottest interior designer in London and aims to make the properties she works on look as glamorous as she is. Juliana says herself that she can be “very naughty” when given half a chance and relishes the opportunity to push boundaries.
She is also entirely open about her workplace crushes, which causes drama in the office. However, when an emotional Juliana reveals shocking details about her past, it’s clear there’s a lot more to her than meets the eye.
Olivia – Broadcaster
Classy and level-headed, DDRE content creator Olivia has the diplomacy skills to diffuse the most volatile of situations. The peacemaker in the office and the voice of reason amid any drama, she’s likeable, caring, and often acts as a go-between when conflict erupts.
Close to Juliana, Olivia is quick to advise when some of her actions cause friction. But will that advice be heeded?
Alex – Rival agent
The founder and director of a rival agency, slick Alex is a shrewd operator and one of Danny’s oldest friends. While their personal relationship goes back decades, when it comes to business, Alex and Danny are arch enemies and they know they can never truly trust each other as they battle it out on behalf of their wealthy clients.
But underneath the professional tension and power playing, there’s a mutual respect, although this could be torpedoed when it emerges Alex has his eye on more than just the next big property deal. Could he be about to blindside Danny?
