We want you! The Tab Leeds is looking for new writers to join the team
We’re hosting an open meeting at Old Bar on Monday 12th February at 6pm for you to find out more
No matter if you’re an experienced journalist or a budding writer, if you’re reading this, then take it as sign that you should come and write for The Tab Leeds this term!
From the hottest campus headlines to Hyde Park and Headingley’s latest gossip, here in Leeds, there’s always a story waiting to be told.
During semester one, The Tab covered it all: From Just Stop Oil protests to popular club closures, from Leeds fashion predictions to student occupations, from the best date night spots to how to channel Tube Girl energy – if there’s a scoop to be shared, we make sure that Leeds students know about it.
With the second term now underway, we’re looking for new talent to join the team. Whether it’s your first time putting pen to paper or whether you’re a veteran at the business, if you’re passionate about providing a voice for the students in Leeds, we want to hear from you.
In addition to being a great way to meet like-minded people, writing for The Tab is also the perfect opportunity for anyone wanting to try their hand at journalism without the pressure of always having to meet a quota or deadline – we get that social lives and university work are important!
So, if the above sounds up your street, we’re hosting an open meeting on Monday 12th February at Old Bar in Leeds University Union at 6pm – students from all universities in Leeds are welcome, so if you fancy getting involved, please do pop along (and feel free to bring a pal!).
In the meantime, if you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to drop us a message on Instagram (@thetab_leeds).
