Inside the relationships of the MAFS Australia season six couples who stayed together

Life comes at you fast!

While season six of Married at First Sight Australia only aired in 2019, it feels like it was an absolute lifetime ago. The cast has been up to all sorts, whether it be moving halfway across the world or having children, they’ve been busy!

Season six of MAFS Australia is possibly one of the most successful seasons for couples staying together, with just two couples who were matched on the show still going strong. So, who is still together from season six of MAFS Australia and what are they up to these days?

Jules and Cam

Jules and Cam were the golden couple of season six and they got engaged for real during their final vows. Cam made history by getting down on one knee and asking Jules to marry him on the series and it is certainly a moment no one can forget.

“The moment you fall more in love than you thought you could fall and every little part of you says YES! I have nothing but love for this man,” Jules wrote on Instagram.

After travelling across Europe, the couple got married for real! The pair tied the knot in Sydney at Beta Bar. They had a lavish event with 170 guests.

In October 2020, the pair announced they had welcomed first child, Oliver, into the world. In an interview with Who magazine, Jules confirmed Oliver was born on September 29th, the same as Cam’s birthday. And in February 2024 they just welcomed their second baby!

“I would do it a thousand times again for you Oliver Chase Merchant. Our little man has arrived, healthy and beautiful and my heart is full. We are home now and enjoying the love bubble and getting to know our little man Ollie who has the world ahead of him,” Jules wrote on Instagram.

In September 2022, Cam and Jules celebrated the four-year anniversary of when they first met on MAFS Australia.

“Four years ago I met a man who made some promises to me that still till this day he has never broken.. keeper,” Jules captioned a video posted on Instagram.

Jules has proven popular amongst viewers to this day and has an impressive 730,000 followers on Instagram. Her success has only continued since the show and has a shapewear business called Figur where she sells various shapewear items.

Michael and Martha

Michael and Martha first met on MAFS Australia and they clicked instantly. Since then the couple have gotten engaged and have a child.

In early 2020, the couple moved into an apartment together in Sydney’s Bondi Beach and began working on their new ventures. Michael quit his job as a teacher and focused onto his online fitness business and Martha became an established influencer.

In December 2021, Martha and Michael revealed they were engaged and announced the happy news on Instagram. A few months later, they set out on a trip to Europe.

“Martha and I spent some time making a big decision to move overseas for a while,” Michael said in an Instagram Q&A.

“We’ve had a few problems with our house and the fact that the world is essentially open again, we decided now is as good a time as any. It’s not a long-term move, but it’s a change we both wanted to experience.”

However, their summer trip was cut short after finding out they were expecting their first child.

“It’s been a minute since we’ve been online, so we wanted to explain our situation and make a little bit of an announcement, and that is that Martha is pregnant,” Michael revealed.

“It hasn’t been this exciting wonderful time for us,” Martha added. “I don’t want to sound like I am complaining, we are so excited, we are so happy. It was a complete surprise.

“But at five weeks I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, which is basically severe chronic nausea and vomiting with no relief. It is like 24/7. I literally did not get out of bed for two months, I was so sick. I could not eat or drink anything. There were days that I did not even get up to pee.”

The pair shared Martha’s pregnancy journey on social media and in February 2023, they welcomed their first child together, Lucius.

“Lucius Brunelli. He’s here, he’s perfect,” Martha wrote alongside a photo of their son on Instagram.
