These are the best signs at yesterday’s York’s Climate Strike
The placards that will give you inspo to become a climate activist
On Friday 29th November St Helen's square was invaded by hundreds of protesters taking part in the Global Climate Strike. This event was organised by YouthStrike4Climate and included representatives such as Extinction Rebellion and University and College Union (UCU).
The crowd had a real mix of ages from primary school students to retired activists chanting: "Climate Change is not a lie, do not let our planet die!" The York Tab joined the masses to find the best protest signs that ranged from shocking straight facts to the pun-tastic, here are some of our favourites:
