Students were seen marching holding posters with slogans and artwork relating to climate change whilst chanting for immediate action.
The #YouthStrike4Climate Twitter hashtag is currently amongst the top trending hashtags in the UK, gaining the attention of MPs across the nation such as Labour's Laura Pidcock.

Bus routes were diverted to go straight to Liverpool One and were advised not to go to St Johns to ensure the safety of the protesters.
