Work experience takes over Southern Rail’s Twitter to give people something to smile about for once

After a period of delays, cancellations and complaining customers, Southern Rail’s Twitter is climbing its way back after handing the reigns over to a 15-year-old work experience student.

Customers quickly turned to praise and even a bit of friendly banter on the social media platform, as work-exp Eddie made the most of his opportunity, advising customers on everything from dinner to sloths.

Animal welfare was a big issue
