A man has been hit by a bus on West Street
Police say he has been taken to hospital
A man has been hit by a bus on West Street today at 13:35.
The incident happened by the West Street tram stop, just outside Tesco Express.
A witness said that the man fell to the floor after the 120 bus hit him, and his face collided with the windscreen.
The windscreen of the bus is shattered in the bottom right corner due to the impact.

Police and ambulance services were called, and police say he is being treated in hospital. Extent of his injuries is unknown.
Police have cordoned off the street and buses are being diverted via Rockingham Street, Broad Lane and Clarkson Street.
